Most clinics know what they own. Fewer can answer, on the spot, which laser is under warranty, who holds the spare laptop, and which machine treated the patient last Tuesday — without opening three spreadsheets and a WhatsApp group.
That is the gap this drop closes. One asset register for centre devices and custody items. Maintenance plans that warn before work is late. A session snapshot of the device used — invisible to the patient, printable when MoH or SFDA asks.
The dated changelog is on What’s new. Evergreen pages: Accounting & Finance for the register and maintenance, HR & Payroll for custody on the staff file.
A file, not a sticky note
Each medical or operational device gets an asset ID, serial, manufacturer, model, branch, status, warranty dates, SFDA registration, and typed documents. Print one device or a filtered list — Arabic RTL, browser print, no broken PDF.
Finance fixed assets stay where they were. The register does not invent journal entries. Promote a device into the ledger later if you need depreciation; until then ops and compliance share one list that accounting does not have to babysit.
Maintenance that rings before it is overdue
Attach preventive, corrective, calibration, or inspection plans. Store the vendor and contract. Complete a visit and the next due date rolls forward. Four alerts: due, overdue, contract expiring, warranty expiring. Lead times are per clinic. Running the check twice in a day does not spam anyone.
Custody on the person who holds it
From the staff profile, hand over a laptop, phone, keys, or uniform — create inline or pick an existing item. Open value sits on the tab. Transfer names both employees in one log line. Return and status changes keep history. Ending employment with open custody shows a warning, not a silent hole in the inventory.
The session device patients never download
When a session completes, staff can pick the device used. Name and serial are stored as a snapshot — rename the machine later and yesterday’s record stays honest. Clinics can require a device before completion; until then it stays optional.
That field is permission-gated. Patient share links and portal queries do not carry it. The inspector report does — filterable, printable, and meant for the people who ask for serial numbers on purpose.
Money still lands in your merchant account. People still run through HR. What changed is the floor: every device finally has a file.
